- What is your favorite place in Europe so far?
- Prague, Budapest, Vienna, Greece,
- Where would you most like to go next?
- I would like to visit another teams Untour like Tuscany. I used to work for the airlines in sales before working for Untours and it has been many year since I have been to Italy.
I would love to go to that region of Italy to enjoy the vineyards, the sunflowers, the cuisine, the beautiful farms. My husband is in agriculture and this would be so much fun to go with him. He is so enthusiastic about the land and meeting people.
- Tell us about one of your favorite places to stay on an Untour. Do you have a favorite host? Apartment? Village?
- Prague is so unique and beautiful I love to just wander with no plans at all and make my discoveries along the way. The thrill always starts by walking across the Charles Bridge in the early dawn before the crowds arrive as the few vendors set up their wares of hand crafted items. A light mist moves over the Vltava River so early in the morning and seems to return at nightfall. I like to leisurely stroll along this pedestrians only bridge and admire the numerous statues of saints that watch over us all, along with the interspersed lanterns that give the bridge a different glow upon my return at night. Charles Bridge is the welcome mat to this city. It says to me enter…just wait there is so much more.”
- Do you have any special interests or hobbies that you follow when you travel?
- I love to get up very early in the morning and wander the area when it is not crowed and enjoy the morning from the locals perspective. I like to see people going to work, food getting delivered, stores and cafe getting ready to open etc.
I always carry a note book and try to find time during my day to write about what I am experiencing.
- Which Untours have you already done?
- Austria, Rhine, Castle, Prague, Budapest, Vienna, Greece, Switzerland and Berlin when we had that program. I have taken my husband Ed and our two children on 4 of our Untours. We started with Austria when the kids were 9 and 11. Later we did Switzerland, then the Rhine and Castle program and Prague / Vienna. My daughter and I were in Greece in April of 2007. They are all good ambassadors!
- What advice would you give others considering an Untour?
- Untours is the best way to travel! The people we work with are wonderful in the Media office and the overseas staff. We know our product and we will treat you like family.
- What is your favorite Untour? (so far)
- It is hard to say since travel is my passion...but if I had to pick right now it would be my last trip which was Greece

Marianne is one of our staff people here in Media. She writes beautifully and helps people going on the German, Prague, Budapest, Vienna and Greek Untours.
It was very nice meeting you during our visit in June.
