- Tell us about one of your favorite places to stay on an Untour. Do you have a favorite host? Apartment? Village?
- The alpine apartment Kandersteg, Switzerland has been our favorite. The location was ideal for walking to the train and the view of the mountains in the morning was breathtaking.
- Do you have any special interests or hobbies that you follow when you travel?
- Finding inexpensive, regional wines
- What is the funniest thing that happened to you on an Untour?
- Waving my hands frantically with 3 construction workers as they were trying to give me directions in a confusing Sicilian city. My family laughed at how animated the "conversation" was with my Italian vocabulary of about 100 words.
- Which Untours have you already done?
- Spain, Switzerland (Oberland), Sicily
- What advice would you give others considering an Untour?
- A great way to travel and not always feel "on the go". Creating your own itinerary and having flexibility are great features. Do what you like.

This was only our third official Untour (Spain 2003 and Switzerland 2005), traveling with my in-laws, Ann and Bill Logan. They have been on at least 18 Untours and help us enjoy and explore Europe. Since Sicily was a newer

Thanks for joining the Untours Cafe! What a great blog on your trip to Sicily. Ann & Bill are wonderful triplogging Untourists! I hope you'll have as much fun hanging out here as I do; I know other folks will enjoy your Sicily account. Take your time to explore all the photos, and videos. If you like, you can even post a question or start a discussion in our forum.
