Tell us about one of your favorite places to stay on an Untour. A favorite host? Apartment? Village?: Le Chiuse farmhouse just outside of Montalcino in Tuscany South.

Which Untours have you already done?: All the Italian locations, obviously; German Castle, Paris, and brief visits to the Oberland and Heartland in Switzerland and Holland.

At 11:54am on June 27th, 2008, Denice said…: I haven't taken an Untour yet, BUT, it is something we are going to do soon! One of our problems is deciding where to go .... the group I travel with each have a varied ideas .... Austria is high on the list, as is Switzerland and Germany. We read all the info here on the different places. But now, that Amalfi (one of my personal favorite places in the world) is going to be added, that might make our decision easier!! Thanks for the update, and I look forward to more info on this new Untour!

And do NOT drive. . .take the SITA buses, which run quite regularly.

Also, don't miss seeing Salerno, a lovely city rebuilt after WWII.

I'm so glad there will be an Amalfi Untour coming soon. This is the one area in Italy that I'm dying to explore. Just came back from Umbria/Venice and would love some information on the Amalfi Untour.
