Swiss Heartland Part Two
Two hikes in the Swiss Heartland: one from Hohfluh to Meiringen via Reuti, and one from Magisalp to Kaserstatt (after Cheese Day). Mercifully, the latter was almost all uphill: I'd strained something in my knee the day before that made it very painful to go downhill for a few days. (As the chief family photographer, I tend to fall down a lot).
Actually, I think the main purpose of this slideshow is to demonstrate just how hard it is NOT to take a picture-postcard on a sunny day in the Alps!

Amazing scenery and fabulous weather plus 3 photographers made it easy to put together something nice. The next leg of the trip won't be quite as easy as the weather suddenly turned: Meiringen, Bern and Lucerne in this August's flooding rains.

What wonderful memories this brings up. Was this made using ProwShow Gold? If so, how did you proceed with making this. I have that program and lots of pictures. Want to try it.

I used a Mac-only program called FotoMagico which I love and which crashed my dad's Mac.
ProShow Gold seems to have a similar interface and a few extra features that I'd love to have, such as the ability to add video clips to slide shows. I think there are several PC users on this list who would like to know about this program - I see from the website that there's a 15-day trial, so I may give it a whirl myself sometime when the kids aren't home and I am!
