Dear Bill, whenever I feel like a little vacation, it's so nice to visit one of your & Eleanor's adventures. I wonder how you record in so much detail. Do you add the comments afterward, or keep notes as you go along. I'd love to do something half as nice for our trip, but I've always felt afraid of missing something while I fumble for the camera...Anyway, thanks for the mini trip!
Eleanor keeps detailed notes while I take photos. My camera records the exact date and time. So I try to take additional photos to record further details, like the menus or a street sign. This year I will be bringing a new camera to go along with my Nikon D40X SLR and Sony HD video camera. I am getting used to my new Canon SD780 Elph digital camera. I believe that this is possibly the smallest camera you can buy. It's about the size of a credit card and is .7" thick. In addition to 12mp photos, it takes HD video. It can take photos as close as 1.2". I've been experimenting with it. This camera will come in handy in tight spaces, like in a restaurant. I can grab it out of my pocket and start recording or taking photos in seconds.
Sounds like you have it down to a fine science. I have a little Kodak Easy Share--small but not Elph-size. Sort of like I'm driving a Chevy automatic & you'll be operating an exotic racing car! When will you 2 be going to Paris?
So far I am very pleased with this tiny camera. The video quality is excellent.
It's not a good idea to say online exactly when we will be in Paris. We don't want to leave our home open for a possible burglary. I sent you a friend request along with a message.
