I don't know what you mean by reasonably priced restaurant but I can recommend the Zeughauskeller. It is atmospheric and tasty. You can see the menu in English with Swiss prices at their web site. http://www.zeughauskeller.ch/index.htm

Italy has alternating current just as we do, however the voltage is 220, twice what we have. Many hairdryers sold in the US have a small switch on them that converts from 110 to 220 volts. Check out your dryer. If it doesn't have the switch, try you…

Never been to Spain. Perhaps you could contact your Untour's rep. and make sure that they don't mean internet connection instead of Wi-Fi. If so, then you could not connect your iPod.

Wi-Fi is a wireless hookup to the internet so if your iPod can get on the internet wirelessly at home, then you should be able to hook up in Barcelona. If there is a password, the host should be able to furnish that. Have a great trip.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a hotel in Zurich? I would like to stay an extra two days there.

When you leave the bahnhof (railroad station) and move toward town, at the first intersection turn right and go several hundred feet and then turn left. The Klopfenstein building is really an apartment house. The K. Lower is on the ground floor and my wife and I occupied it in 2001 when we escorted 26 member so our hiking club (The Oldtimers Hiking club of which I am the senior member at 90) on a Swiss Untour. We used seven apartments in Kandersteg and one in Fruitigen. In 1996 I took a paraglide flight there using Freddy Krahenbuhl. If interested, ask for his address at the Tourist Office.
Enjoy your trip. Bob Miller

Henry, you asked about a hotel in Zurich. The last ime I used a hotel in Zurich was in 1975 sop the info isn't current. It was the Leoneck. Not fancy, but clean and not far from the hauptbahnhof. I expect if you put Hotel Leoneck, Zurich on the Google subject line you could get up to date infor. Good Luck. Bob Miller
