What is the funniest thing that happened to you on an Untour?
My wife Sandy insisted of taking the luggage aboard a train before meeting our friends to return home from Ticino. I loaded up and left the train momentarily to wait for friends and cool off. Next thing I know there goes the train, Sandy luggage and all! Fortunately she didn't have to go all the way to Zurich and debarked at Bellinzona. Then had to unload all the luggage herself and get it into train station!

Ticino
Rome

Have a strong sense of adventure.

Steve,
I noticed you were wondering if you would have enough to do in the Netherlands in two weeks. Trust me, you will have lots to do. A couple days in Leiden (a delightful town), day trips to Amsterdam (we went 4 different days), Delft, Kroller Muller Museum, Harleem, maybe an overnight to Belgium, and other day trips will more then fill your time and you will have a wonderful time. The people are very friendly and the sites quite interesting. It's well worth your time.

Hi Steve: My research has just begun, actually. However, I can tell you already that we will be lucky to see all that we want to see in two weeks. I think that when you stay in a location that is local and not a hotel that you tend to enjoy it more. I have found lots to see in the Netherlands and of course we plan to go to Belgium and Luxemburg. I am still reading and doing research online. I must say that I have yet to go to Europe where I have run out of things to do. Let me know if you can share any thoughts with me.
