Hi John, Thanks for all your suggestions. The Red Light District and the brown cafe's are definitely not on our agenda! And we'll be visiting a WWII museum and the Henri Chapelle cemetery in Belgium…

- Welcome to the Cafe, Pat. We go through Rockford everytime we visit our daughter and family in Chicago.
I'm sure you will love your upcoming Untours to Holland. Leiden is a wonderful town to be located in and very handy to many places you will want to go. Traveling with your granddaughters will also make the trip very special. We went there in Oct. of 2008. Let me know if I can answer any questions for you.

Welcome to the Cafe. I truly love your profile picture. I think your trip to Holland with your granddaughters sounds very very awesome. Would you mind if I posted it as a more general question to the Holland Group, i.e. do they have any suggestions for you on such a trip. Our customers love to help other folks discover the treasures they found on their Untour.....and there are often so many things kids can do that are overlooked.

I just put your question about HOlland on the general Forum page, and sent a note to Cafe members inviting them to add their advice, either about travelling with grandkids or Holland. Hopefully you will get some good tips; Untourists are a really nice bunch!
