Paris 2001 - Part 2
The apartment is cozy,
just the right size for two people. The living/dining area is to the
left of the entryway, the small kitchen is straight ahead, and the
bedroom and bath are to the right. Across the far end of the
living/dining area are floor-to-ceiling windows behind dark red drapes,
pulled back to allow a view of the massive white brick wall of the

But, most of all I just "lose myself" in the drawing and coloring --- good therapy for a twitchy, ADD Type A like me! I have sent back a "friends" request, and will read your Paris reports with great interest. Sally and I have good Parisian friends, who of course take us to brasseries & cafe's known only to locals. We get so much enjoyment out of the small Left Bank galleries, the astounding Musée d'Orsay, the Jeu de Paume etc. etc. Have you stayed on l'Isle St. Louis ? - Welcome Sara and Christopher! I received your friend request and accepted it. Thanks for the invitation. We just went to Paris this summer for the first time. Loved it! Haven't really started to label my 1,000s of photos yet. That's always the fun part.
Want to read your blogs about Paris. Haven't had a chance yet, we were having our last camping trip of the year.
Recommend Swiss Oberland and the Bartlome apartment. Susi is a really great host and her apartment is adorable. Very convenient location in Gwatt near Thun to getting to anywhere. I have a triplog on the untours.com site that I posted in 2004. It's in the older triplog section. I've been wanting to redo it for the cafe but haven't had time yet.
It will be good communicating with you. We Californians have a lot in common.
