We had combined it with an Elderhostel trip in Spain that ended in Seville. We rented a car and drove up the Mediterranean coast to Barcelona. We stayed near the marina and thoroughly enjoyed walking La Rambla and many parts of the city. We especially like the Gaudi architecture. After the week there we flew to Paris and stayed in the Latin Quarter.
I had previously gone with Untours to Italy where I stayed two weeks in Venice and Umbria.
