Back to Switzerland, but at age 90, I'm afraid our overseas travelling is over.
Tell us about one of your favorite places to stay on an Untour. Do you have a favorite host? Apartment? Village?
Sachseln and Kandersteg, Switzerland
Albert & Berit Greutert, Frau Margaret Wafler
Chalet Berit, Chalet Alpenstraum
Do you have any special interests or hobbies that you follow when you travel?
Hiking, paragliding
Which Untours have you already done?
Swiss Heartland (6), Swiss Oberland (3)
What advice would you give others considering an Untour?
Select your destination, start planning at least 6 months in advance (longer is you have a large party), read the trip logs for how others spent their time in the area you plan to visit.
Hi Bob!
Great to see you have signed up. I know you must be getting ready for your trip to Switzerland soon. That must be so exciting. I can't wait to see your pictures when you return! Welcome to the Untours Café!

I see you mentioned the trip logs. We are definitely planning to provide links for all the existing trip logs here. I also have one of our summer interns on a project finding all the best "nugget" of information in the existing triplogs. We will be excerpting them as we post to the blog, which will help people find these useful planning aids.
Hi Bob, yes it is Jean, sorry for the name on my
profile, but I wasn't sure how to do it.
Hopefully in the near future I will change to
a shorter one. Yes I hope we will be exchanging
ideas and stories in the future. Jean and Fred
Bill told me that you were having problems accepting all of our requests to have you as a friend. We're patient, and in the mean time we'll go the e-mail route.
When are you off for Switzerland? I didn't recall that you were planning another trip there this year.
As I recall, you soared from Planplatten down to Meiringen. My wife Gail was going to do her first paraglide flight last year, but was grounded due to the weather. She will make another attempt via Birdwing this year. Any advice?
Hi Bob!
I'm so out of step with the technological improvements we have made that I can't even do the basics-- like find out what time period you are in Switzerland (In Sachseln, at the Greuterts--if I remember correctly. Can't query the computer, so I'm asking you, seated here at my table in the Untour Cafe. Hal
When you catch up, send news of the Greutert's and how your trip went. Cheers. Joan.

Hi Bob, I am considering a trip to Kandersteg and am trying to find the location of the Klopfenstein Lower. If you can tell me anything about its location I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Hank Helvie

Try sending a message to Marilee or Powen about the problem. I would send another invite, but the site says the invite was already sent.
