- What is your favorite place in Europe so far?

- Tell us about one of your favorite places to stay on an Untour. Do you have a favorite host? Apartment? Village?
- My favorite apartments are the Zimmerman on Lake Thun in the Swiss Oberland, with its splendid alp- and lake-view balcony the perfect reward for an uphill walk to get there; and the Rembrandt in Leiden, which is central to all things Dutch.
- Do you have any special interests or hobbies that you follow when you travel?
- I love contemporary art galleries & museums, especially public art like all the murals in Leiden.

- My dad and I were on the train to the Jungfraujoch in Switzerland, not realizing our Swiss Passes weren't valid on the most expensive ride in the Alps. But when we were digging out all the money we had, a woman argued the conductor into accepting two extra tickets she just happened to have. A complete stranger saved us $100 and wouldn't even let us buy her a cup of coffee!

Do I work for Untours?
Sort of! I've worked for the Swiss and Dutch Untour Team and the Untours Foundation on and off since January 2001. Right now I work part-time on special projects as they come up. Why yes, it is the best job I've ever had!
