Oh yeah. I tried the steak tartare at Le Navigator. I know it's probably wonderful to some, but I was awfully glad when the desserts came.
We are thinking of going to Austria next summer on our third Untour. Thanks for the VERY interesting "tour" of the salt mine. It will definitely be on our agenda, although I have claustrophobia and may freak out that far underground.

- What is your favorite place in Europe so far?
- Alsace, France
- Where would you most like to go next?
- Actually, back to France. But since there's so much more to see, probably Austria.
- Tell us about one of your favorite places to stay on an Untour. Do you have a favorite host? Apartment? Village?
- Although I loved the Alsace region and the apartment in Bergheim, my absolute favorite place to stay was our farmhouse outside of St. Didier in Provence. It was so secluded that it was as if the world had disappeared. The drive to the house was on such a narrow road that the car brushed against the vegetation. We made friends with a cat that came around daily and the view of Mt. Ventoux was unbelieveable.
- Do you have any special interests or hobbies that you follow when you travel?
- Historical sites

- Coming back from sightseeing on our last day in Provence to find a lizard in our sink.

- DO IT!!!! There is NO better way to travel abroad.

Welcome to the Untours Cafe! I hope you'll have as much fun here as I do. Take your time and explore some of the photos, and videos.One of the most useful spots on the Cafe can be found by clicking the Destination tab. Since you may be considering visiting Provence again why not post a question or start a discussion in the Provence Destination and get the answer from other P{rovene (Or Alsace) loving Untourists. That's also where you can find all the content on the cafe (photos, videos, blogs) related to that destination.
If you have a chance, fill out some of the questions in your profile so that others can learn a bit more about you, and you can also set up a picture of yourself for your page to personalize it a bit. It helps us put a face to the name.
