The answer to last Tuesday's Name That Spot: It's Buenos Aires!

It is the famous San Telmo Market in Buenos Aires. Well-known for its shopping and for its associations with the beloved Tango.....as we said, the photo belongs to Lotta Rao of our Untours staff, and she would be happy to talk to you further about why we think Buenos Aires is the perfect spot for those who love an European flair and off-the-beaten track travel that also has its creature comforts.

I also think, Margaret, that many people post blogs on their own pages, but they don't automatically get posted to the trip blog site. I can think of many blogs I've read that are not on the trip blog page. I'm not sure how one can access things tha…

Hi Kathy: Looking forward to meeting you. How old is your daughter? Which apartment are you in? We're in the first floor Rembrandt. Are you there for one week or two? The girls and I are getting very excited -- now it's only 3 months until we leave!…

Trip blogs are a lot of time consuming work. That may be one of the reasons.

Is there a reason that almost all trip blogs date back to 2008? Aren't there any more recent posts ???

Announcing our newest destination: Buenos Aires!

Tired of jet lag, but want a European-style adventure?
Tired of winter and want a bit of summertime?

Then join Untours in the Paris of South America, Buenos Aires, in 2010! A sumptuous, elegant, world capitol, Buenos Aires is ready to welcome you with open arms and a strong dollar. So much more than the sum of its parts, Buenos Aires exudes an old-world European charm, while retaining a distinctive Latin American flair. Talk to anyone who has been there, Buenos Aires has a seductive power all its own: the steak truly is amazing; the tango shows divine; and the locals warm and friendly.

We've made several trips overseas to prepare for this Untour and here are just a few of the things we've loved the most:

* The weekly craft fair in the cobble stoned neighborhood of San Telmo, famed for its outdoor tango shows
* The Recoleta Cemetary with its Art Noveau and Art Deco mausoleums
* The café culture…alive and well, especially in the Palermo neighborhood
* The extensive park system, especially the ravishing roses in Rosedal
* The many possible day trips, including travel by boat to Colonia del Sacramento in Uruguay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
* The extensive and eclectic array of museums

Packages in "the Paris of South America" start at just $999 per person when two people travel, and include two weeks in a vacation apartment hand-picked for its character and location, on-site support including an orientation and emergency contact, airport transfers, a city tour, guidebooks, a cultural event like a wine tasting or tango performance, and expert planning support. Shorter and longer stays are also available.

We have researched and personally selected exceptional flats in inviting, unique residential neighborhoods. They'll be available for viewing and booking on our website starting December 3! http://www.untours.com
